Prairie View, Texas --- One day after picking up their first conference win over Texas Southern The Grambling State Lady Tigers Volleyball team completed their sweep through Texas with a, 3-0, win over the Lady Panthers of Prairie View A&M.

 

It was the upperclassmen night to shine for the Lady Tigers as they made short work of the Lady Panthers on their home court winning in straight games back to back nights this time, 25-18, 25-14 and 25-23.

 

Senior outside hitters Kayla Williams and Kendra Johnson led the Lady Tigers. Williams turned in 10 kills and 14 digs, while Johnson added 11 kills and five digs. Junior Shawonna Davis also had 11 kills and five digs.

 

The Lady Panthers Sapphire Reid and Cheri Lindsay had eight kills and six digs each.

 

Grambling returns to action Monday night when travel to Baton Rouge, La to face the Lady Jaguars of Southern University.
