Lady Tigers Post Win over Texas Southern

HOUSTON - - - The Grambling State Lady Tigers volleyball team posted their first conference win of the season in a, 3-0, victory over the Lady Tigers of Texas Southern.

Led by senior outside hitter Kayla Williams Grambling won in three games 25-11, 25-17 and 26-24 to hand TSU their first conference loss of the season.

Williams recorded nine kills, five digs and four blocks. Senior Ashley Cooper added eight kills and eight digs, while freshman Chelsee Goins had 23 digs.

For TSU Jeriessa King had nine kills and 10 digs; with Ashlee Cooper adding six kills.
