Lady Tigers Fall to Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions

Grambling, LA--- The Grambling State Lady Tigers soccer team fell, 3-0, to the Lady Lions of Southeastern Louisiana.
GSU allowed SLU one goal in the first half, it came at the 18:17 mark when Lauren Stilliams’ corner kick found Candice Wallace in scoring position.
“We played well, after the first goal it was kind of a let down. But we kept the intensity up for 90 minutes,” said Head Coach Tamura Crawley.
In the second half the Lady Lions came back out scoring with a goal by Natalie Santana (56:33) with an assist by Wallace. The final goal of the game was scored by Karly Dagys, Stilliams assisted on this goal also.
“We need to connect to feet, get the ball to each other better. Work on simple things,” said Crawley.
