Lady Tigers Volleyball Picks up First Win over Warhawks

Monroe, LA --- The Grambling State Lady Tigers Volleyball team picked up their first win of the season in a 3-2 victory of the Warhawks of the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
Gambling’s Kayla Williams paced the Lady Tigers with 19 kills and 13 digs; while Showanna Davis added 12 kills and five digs. Davarika Johnson had 46 assists and 10 digs.
The Lady Tigers (1-3) will return to action this weekend when they travel to Wichita, KN to participate in the Wichita Tournament September 4-5.
