Grambling State Athletics

Grambling, LA---The Grambling State Lady Tigers Soccer team struggled in a, 8-0, home opener loss to the Lady Techsters of Louisiana Tech.

 

Grambling played the visitors from just up the interstate on an even keel though the first 14 minutes before the Lady Techsters made their way to the scoreboard on a shot and goal by Mallory Feece. Plagued by injuries in the first half the Lady Tigers could not generate much offense and trailed, 4-0, at the break.

In the second half the Lady Tigers offense picked up recording three shots on goal after only notching one in the first Ashley Baker and Annit Dominique both recorded two shots one which was on goal. Jordan Taylor had four saves against 12 shots faced.

 

The Lady Tigers will return to action Sunday September 5^th when they travel to west to Texas to face the University of Texas-San Antonio.
