Grambling, La. (August 2, 2012) – The Grambling State University Tigers reported to campus for the fall camp on yesterday (August 1st) and began training for the upcoming season today.
“I think everyone that comes out for the first day comes to see the condition the guys are in and for the ones returning, how much they remember from last year. And you hope the young guys are able to pace themselves,” stated Coach Doug Williams.
GSU has 94 young men practicing and looking to step-up wherever needed.
“Today we are going over fundamentals and the basics. No leaders emerge on day one, but you begin to see them when fatigue sets in,” said Coach Williams.
