Williams named Boxtorow National Player of the Week


Fuquay-Varina, NC (October 5, 2013) - Grambling quarterback Johnathan Williams has been named Boxtorow National Player of the Week. Williams, a junior from Tampa, FL, accounted for 319 yards and all seven of Grambling's touchdowns in the Tigers 47-40 victory over Mississippi Valley State. He completed 18 of 31 passing for 265 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
