GRAMBLING, La– Grambling State University's head football coach,
Broderick Fobbs, was recently named SBN Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year for the 2014 SBN Black College All-American Team.
Fobbs was also named SWAC Coach of the Year in 2014 after leading the Tigers (7-5) to a seven-game winning streak to start conference play. When Fobbs assumed the head football coach position at Grambling State University last December, the team had a record of 2-22.
Since 1974, SBN Sports have been selecting All-American teams in Black College football. SBN Sports is also a division of the Urban Radio Networks. The selection committee consists of a nationwide panel of newspapers, television, and radio reporters, HBCU's coaches and sports information directors.
