GRAMBLING, LOUISANA-Grambling's own
Chauncey Wells was named as one of the top student athletes to watch during the 2015-2016 season.
Wells is a native of Meridian, Mississippi. He is a junior majoring in accounting and a member of the 2015 Southwestern Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship team. Wells competes in the triple and long jump events for Grambling.
"Chauncey has the ability to go all the way to nationals," said Head Track Coach
Bertram Lovell. "Wells will do very well in the conference next season. He is very loyal to the track & field program and coaches."
The Grambling State University Athletic Department would like to congratulate
Chauncey Wells on his accomplishment.

Value Add Sports calculations on all returning Louisiana athletes and opinions from 83 sports writers and other experts in the state. Wells was ranked 12
th in the list of top 25 athletes to watch.
