Dear Coach/Advisor:

 

On behalf of the staff and management of the Terry Lilly Cheerleader (TLCC), I bid you greetings.  I am very excited to welcome you and your team to participate in a 2007 Terry Lilly Cheerleader Camp (TLCC).  This registration packet includes some helpful items to hopefully help you make the choice to bring your squad to camp this summer.  It’s more than just a summer camp.  We keep great traditions of after-hour activities and other fun events that go beyond the normal scope of cheer.  If your squad wishes to host a private camp, TLCC will come to you.

Private camps are three-day events.  We allow each team to submit the proposed dates for their respective private camp, and all proposals must be approved.  If you are eager to experience a new style of cheerleading camp, and excited to see the most creative, dances, cheers, chants, stunts, and pyramids for junior and high school squads, be sure to register for a 2007 TLCC Summer Camp. 

The Terry Lilly Cheerleader Camp (TLCC) has created a fun and rewarding environment that makes each student and coach feel special.  The camp will exercise the utmost care in assuring that each camper’s safety is the number one priority.  All activities will be supervised.

 

Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Grambling Hall Auditorium on the campus of GSU.  All participants will be responsible for their own insurance for camp.

 

Camp will officially end at 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 9th.

Campers must clean rooms and check out of the dorm by 12:00 noon.  (Please be on time.)

 

The camp will be conducted on the beautiful campus of Grambling State University.  The Men’s Gym and The Intramural Complex will be utilized during the camp.

 

1.         Towels, pillow, blanket and bed linens

2.         Practice gear (shorts, gym, shoes, t-shirt)

3.         Toiletries (personal hygiene)

4.         Spending money

5.         Casual clothes for leisure time

6.         Swim Suits & Uniforms

 

Campers will eat on the GSU campus with food catered.  Resident campers will stay on campus in Douglas Hall.

Commuters campers would report each day at 8:00 a.m. and be picked up each day at 8:00 p.m.  Lunch and dinner meals will be provided by Aramark Dining Hall Food Service (includes registration, lunch and dinner.)

 

Cost per individual                       -           $175.00 (on campus)

Coaches/Chaperons/Advisors (on campus )      -           $75.00

Commuters                                                       -           $120.00

 

 

 

Check-in will be in Grambling Hall Auditorium from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00   Schedule will be upon arrival.

 

Keys and meal cards will be issued upon arrival at registration.  All keys should be returned, if not returned there is a charge of $50.00.

 

For resident participant, the tuition includes all meals, housing, facility use and camp instruction.  For commuter participants who attend resident camps, the camp tuition includes residents camps.

 

Meals, provided for resident participants, begin with dinner on the first day and end with breakfast on the last day.  Meals hours are normally as follows:

Breakfast:  7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.      
Lunch:  12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.         
Dinner:  5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

 

Linens, including sheets, pillows, blankets and towels, are not provided by the university.  Participants should plan to bring their own.

 

No overnight visitors are allowed at camp.

GSU encourages an adult to accompany the squad, and highly recommends that he/she be the squad coach or advisor.
