Men's Baseball
Facility
TIGER STADIUM
The Grambling State Tiger baseball team plays in one of the finest facilities in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The facility, which was recently renovated in 2003, is a $2.1 million dollar complex that features clubhouses for both home and visiting teams, a press box area, chairback seating and a covered grandstand. Before the facility was redone, the Tiger baseball field has played host to some of the finest players to ever come through the SWAC along with several games featuring the New York Yankees.
Due to the constuction of new student housing which began in 2007, the baseball stadium will yet receive another facelift. The ticket booth will be moved to the northern side of the stadium and the fence has been painted black. The Tigers also received a brand new batting cage which allows for more batters to conduct batting practice at one time.
